4/18 Write a poem about a cafeteria. Create a poem inspired by the people who might be eating lunch in a cafeteria at school or at a hospital.
School Kids.
In front of me is a group of children
Each kid, relatively happy
But to each kid – every bite of food means something different
For some this is the only bite of warm food they would get all day
Some kids this is the most disgusting bite of food they will have
And for some, they’re just hungry.
Dua genuinely believes that our relationship with food should not be complicated. She likes to focus on eating in moderation and listening to your body but this, of course, will be different from person to person and body to body.
