Virtual Grocery Store Tour with A Muslim Dietitian [Webinar]

A Muslim Dietitian goes live in a virtual grocery store tour. Learn how to navigate the store and how to compare products using food labels.

What’s a Grocery Store Tour?

Grocery Store Tour with A Muslim Dietitian! That’s me!

Grocery shopping – we all have to do it! Nowadays we have a lot of choices. Not only can we choose the store, but we can also choose the method. You go in person these days, take advantage of grocery pick up or better yet, delivery. Regardless of the method you choose, you still have to make the same choices.

Join me on Tuesday, October 26 @ 7:30pm for a virtual grocery store tour. I’ll be visiting our local Meijer to walk you through the grocery store. You’ve probably heard the term “shop the perimeter”, well we won’t be limiting our tour to just that because there are LOTS of other aisles that are just as important.

What will we learn?

  • Navigating a grocery store:
    • Typical grocery store layout
    • Where to start/end while shopping
    • Store tricks and gimmicks
  • Comparing food items
    • Reading food labels
    • Ingredient lists and how to use them
    • Added sugars and how to find them

How to Join

Stay home and join live via the good ol’ interwebs! I will be at Meijer in person on Tuesday, August 10 at 7:30 CST. The store will be fairly quiet and we will be able to cover the most ground. I’ll be live for about an hour and answering all of your questions, inshAllah.

Just click the button below to join! You can catch this live or if you won’t be able to join live, you can watch the replay which will be available within 24-48 hours after.

Super excited to see you there!

Warmly,
Dua RDN

About me

Dua genuinely believes that our relationship with food should not be complicated. She likes to focus on eating in moderation and listening to your body but this, of course, will be different from person to person and body to body.
